Salman Khurshid Alam Khan born 1 January 1953 is an Indian politician, designated senior advocate, eminent author and a law teacher. He was the Cabinet Minister of the Ministry of External Affairs. He belongs to the Indian National Congress.

He is a lawyer, and a writer who has been elected from Farrukhabad Lok Sabha constituency in the General Election of 2009.

He is the son of Khurshed Alam Khan, a former Union Minister of External affairs, Government of India, and maternal grandson of Zakir Husain, the third President of India.

Akhilesh Yadav – Samajwadi Party

Akhilesh Yadav is an Indian politician and national president of the Samajwadi Party who served as the 20th Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Having assumed the chief minister’s office on 15 March 2012 at the age of 38, he is the youngest person to have held the office till date.

He is the son of Mulayam Singh Yadav, a veteran Indian politician and the founder of Samajwadi Party who served as Minister of Defence, Government of India and three term Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.

His chief ministerial tenure also saw emphasis on developing power sector, modernising the police force, setting up Kisan Bazaars and Mandis, introducing social welfare schemes such as Lohiya Awas Yojana, Kanya Vidya Dhan, Kisan Avam Sarvhit Bima Yojana, Pension Yojna and allotting unemployment allowances.

Between 2012-2015, over 15 Lakh laptops were distributed to the 10th and 12th passout students by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, making it one of the largest distribution scheme by any government in the world.

Sam Pitroda is the Father of Digital India. In 1987 during his tenure as advisor to Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, Pitroda headed six technology missions related to telecommunications, water, literacy, immunization, dairy, and oilseeds. He spent nearly a decade with Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi as the leader of an effort to build an Indian information industry.

Satyanarayan Gangaram Pitroda born 17 November 1942, also known as Sam Pitroda is an Indian telecommunication engineer, and entrepreneur. He is the chairman of Indian Overseas Congress. He was born in Titlagarh.

He was also an advisor to, Prime Minister (then) Dr. Manmohan Singh’s tenure and for United Nations.

He obtained a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. In 1966 he went to work for GTE in Chicago. He is regarded as one of the earliest pioneers of hand-held computing because he invented the Electronic Diary in 1975.

In 1984, Pitroda was invited to return to India by the Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. On his return, he started the Center for Development of Telematics C-DOT, an autonomous telecom R&D organization.

Digvijaya Singh of INC

Digvijaya Singh born 28 February 1947 is an Indian politician and a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha.

He is Ex-General Secretary of the Indian National Congress party’s All India Congress Committee. Previously, he had served as the 14th Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, a central Indian state, for two terms from 1993 to 2003.

Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar 14 April 1891 – 6 December 1956 was an Indian jurist, economist, social reformer and political leader who headed the committee drafting the Constitution of India from the Constituent Assembly debates.

After graduating from Elphinstone College, University of Bombay, Ambedkar studied economics at Columbia University and the London School of Economics, receiving doctorates in 1927 and 1923, respectively, and was among a handful of Indian students to have done so at either institution in the 1920s.
